Barn conversion
We gained approval yesterday for the conversion of a barn into a dwelling. This included providing an entrance link between a former milking barn and a former stable. The barn includes full height glass gable frontage and first floor to the roof void.
The barn is in the historic village of Wall and sits within the greenbelt. Wall is a very small village and civil parish in Staffordshire, just south of Lichfield. Lying on the site of the Roman settlement of Letocetum, the parish includes the small villages of Chesterfield, Hilton and Pipehill. There is also the hamlet of Aldershawe, which sits about 0.8 km to the North of wall
