The villa (18 Pike lane) in Armitage is an article 4 / building of historical interest which although not listed will have the same consideration applied to it by the planning authority. The scheme originally included many new builds, and was considered too dense. We went back to the design and looked to convert the outbuildings and to include a small number of new builds to the land at the rear. This is an outline application, and has considerations such as TPOs (tree preservation orders) and issues with access from the highway. But it is a beautiful property which sadly needs to be given a fresh overhaul and be relevant for the community, and also to be affordable as a cared for heritage dwelling. Updates to follow..
