A new build in Kempshott, Surrey for a client who is project managing the works as well as partly on the tools.. A huge undertaking but coming together well; minor changes regarding building regulations but achievable without major changes to the proposals. Fire is a big issue, but more so since Grenfell. With new builds there are restrictions on boundary windows. This may compromise natural light source but it will ensure that fires don’t spread to neighbouring properties. So in this case we have shaved off the area of a couple of boundary windows. Still plenty of natural light and ventilation.
