Home Farm Alrewas is a Listed building which has been adapted over the centuries; exposing the innards of the building has resulted in some unusual finds. Purlins resting on windows, structural timbers which have failed over time – and resulted in the floors or walls hanging on by a thread. Added to which a whole colony of deathwatch beetles and the work mounted up. But @sphomes have made headway, brilliantly. The scaffolding is due to be dropped early July and then the jewel that this building is will be evident.
