| This is Mill House. An early 19th century windmill that lost its sails many years ago, replete with large overbearing add-ons, sheds, outbuildings and a garage unit. It was almost impossible to see what was left of the brick mill. We have stripped back the outbuildings and created a simple but contrasting new build, which links via glass between the two. Through the glass is the garden and fields to the rear. Bright verdant landscaping is the sight to greet you on entrance to the dwelling. The heritage statement is that there is no ‘heritage significance’ in the mill, but we believe it has plenty of life in it yet.
