Grade II Listed Consall Mill is an ongoing project – but due to current climate is taking a break. I wanted to share the space formed as it’s quite unusual in form. The Mill is a double height space, relatively untouched with plenty of original features. The client’s brief was to create a multifunction room that could host parties, provide storage for a Kayak and mountain bikes but also be a chill out zone for general use. We created office space at first floor and shower/utility space adjacent. A space doesn’t need walls necessarily – it needs to be zoned to allow for functions to each area – but to allow fluidity and simple changes when required. Love this space!
