This property is an old coach house, Grade II listed but with beautiful landscaped garden leading down onto a waterway, the perfect setting. The brief included reconfiguration of internal layouts to suit the family needs but to provide an extension which formed a large family space, well lit with full views to the garden from all elevations. Copper was the original choice, standing seam roof, profiled metal eaves and aluminium double glazed walls. Now in for planning. Materials may change – but the copper for me, is a rich and vibrant colour, complimented against the natural palette of the landscape.
